In 2014 the Canadian Association of Principals (CAP) and Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) completed the first National Study on the Future of the Principalship in Canada. The research results to be shared in this session will outline the range of issues identified by school leaders that are profoundly affecting the work of teachers and students across the nation. It will also frame the top short and long term supports Canadian school leaders have identified in order to build great schools for all students.
