How do you promote an environment of innovation and transformation in your school or district? Audrey will share the Vancouver story of the multi-session inquiry approach that encouraged educators to explore questions about engaging practices using technology as a tool to support deeper learning.Participants will learn how crossing the line from enhancement to transformation can harness the power of digital tools, increase active student engagement and facilitate meaningful, inquiry-based student-centred learning. 

The Vancouver School District is a large, urban and multicultural school district that includes some of the most affluent and impoverished urban neighbourhoods in the country. With 110 schools and more than 54,000 students, this setting provides wonderful opportunities as well as serious challenges. Learn how this district used a K–12 organizational hashtag to share what was happening in classrooms.
